Steam your face to remove blackheads. How can you accomplish this? When using the shower, close the door and windows and to turn on the shower as hot as you can cope with it. When this is done the clogged pores are open and then blackheads can be removed.

Other method involves using hot towel to steam your face or other affected part for about 10 to 15 minutes. The clogged pores are then open. You can now wash with hot water and soap. Dry with clean towel and apply oil free-moisturizer and then apply alcohol for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Cleanliness cannot be over-emphasized here if you must get rid of blackheads. Wash you face thoroughly about twice daily, don’t wash you face indiscriminately. After washing, use clean towel. It will worth your while if you use new towel to clean off your face each time use wash it. This is important because a used one may have oil or dirt in it.

Additionally, change your bed sheet and pillow every other day if possible. Oil and dirt can easily deposit on these.

Honey can also be very beneficial to get rid of blackheads. Take a little quantity of pure honey and warm it. Apply on the affected area and allow for 10 minutes then wash off.
