Poor food habit is one of the major causes of bloating especially in the USA. Why? Studies has revealed that a good number of Americans eat on the run. They never settle down to eat. When food is eaten in haste it produces gas at a rate higher than normal. Excessive salt intake also causes stomach bloating. To get rid of bloating therefore, try as much as possible to reduce salt intake. For those already affected by bloating, it is recommended that that take minimum amount of salt per day. Avoid adding salt when eating is a very important step.
Pre-menstrual tension has been found to be one of the major causes of bloating in female. The symptoms include swelling of the body and tightening of legs and hands. Anxiety before menstrual cycle may cause hormones to fails to balance the fluids level in the body. In this instance the parsley plant has been found to be helpful as it help the body to get rid of excess fluids. Antibiotics too have been discovered to be a culprit in this case. Antibiotics destroy beneficial bacteria in the intestine. When this happen foods remain undigested and causes so much gas to accumulate which result in stomach bloating. Therefore to get rid of bloating you must make sure you don’t take excessive antibiotics. Don’t over use it.
Milk that lack lactase such as buffalo’s milk should also be avoided to get rid of bloating. In all healthful food habit, avoiding excessive salt, minimizing use of antibiotics and avoiding undue tension especially in women are prerequisite to get rid of bloating.
